Role: SIP Technician

The primary duty of the SIP NOC Technician is to work with partners and end customers during the order, provisioning and service turn up  phases and provide ongoing technical support for in production deployments. This is a customer facing role that requires excellent organizational and communication skills. The successful candidate will need to learn a variety of IP PBXs and SBCs, so exposure in this area is an asset.  Understanding of SIP Trunking and fundamentals of IP based telecom deployments are requirements for this role.

Required skills and knowledge:

  • VoIP/SIP/Asterisk foundation
  • PBX and SBC familiarity
  • Routing basics
  • Firewall basics
  • Telecom knowledge (POTS/PRI/T1/OC3/Layer 1/2 technologies)
  • Call Flow Tracing/SIP Ladder
  • Exposure to device provisioning

Role: Platform Engineer

The primary duty of the Platform Engineer is to work within the Network Operations team in the capacity of platform deployment, commissioning, upgrading, maintenance, solution architecture and provisioning. Broad and comprehensive knowledge of telecommunications technology, infrastructure, routing, and switch stand-up is required. This role requires excellent organizational and project planning skills.

  • Telecom Platform – Commissioning, configuration, provisioning, maintenance
  • Linux

Role: SIP Service Delivery Specialist

The primary duty of the Service Delivery Specialist is to work with channel partners and end customers during the order, provisioning and service turn up  in the capacity of order management, solution design, SIP platform provisioning and device interoperability support.  This is a customer facing role that requires excellent organizational and communication skills. The successful candidate will need to learn SIP Platform provisioning including IVR and other hosted PBX settings as well as SIP trunking configuration on a variety of IP PBXs and SBCs, so exposure in this area is an asset.  Understanding of SIP Trunking and fundamentals of IP based telecom deployments are requirements for this role.  Project management experience is an asset.
